Four copper plates, yellow, red, blue and black.

This work was inspired after reading a short story by D H Lawrence; "The Man Who Died" also known as "The Escaped Cock". It took me about three weeks from the cutting of the copper plates to when the final impression was pulled out, The red dot was added at the very last minute.

Made in 1985, 37 vertical lines on the red plate (you can't see them but it softens the texture), and 1 red dot.
