LUCIE RIE 16 March - 28 April 2005 Galerie Besson presents an exciting exhibition of the work of Lucie Rie (1902-1995), one of most the important ceramic artists of the 20th century. Anita Besson first exhibited Lucie Rie’s work 21 years ago and has been living with her pots most of her life. Lucie Rie generously supported Galerie Besson when it opened in 1988 by making 80 new works for its inaugural exhibition and the gallery has continued to exhibit her work on a regular basis ever since.
